June 18, 2026 - Lafourche Parish, Louisiana
A Trooper from Troop C was injured in a single-vehicle crash that occurred shortly after midnight on Hwy-24 (Bourg-Larose Highway).

The Trooper sustained moderate injuries as a result of the incident and was transported to an out-of-area hospital for medical treatment.

We have sent this quilt to let him know we care.

June 12, 2026 - Spencer, Indiana
The Owen County Probation Department requested Deputies to check on a parolee at his residence in the 4000 block near Texas Pike (just north of Manhattan Road) after he missed an appointment.

When the Sgt Detective arrived, shots were fired in his direction. He called for backup, and upon the arrival of additional LE the suspect fired again, striking the Sgt Detective. He was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital but was treated and released to recover at home a few days later.
