Yamhill County Disc Dogs

A few of our club members participated in the K9 Frisbee Toss & Fetch Worldwide Championships today. It’s always fun to see people from other local clubs and to get out and play with our dogs. Pennie/Stacie took 2nd in the Roller division and ran as the only Tiny Dog. Odd Thomas/Nico and Groot/Jessi took 2nd and 3rd in the veteran division. Isobel and Maddie also participated and all dogs and humans had a fun time! Thank you to Toss & Fetch K9 Disc Club - Vancouver, WA for putting on a fun event! Our next session starts Saturday, October 27. We play in Newberg, OR. Message us if you are interested in trying it out.

It felt good to be back throwing some discs for the dogs in week 1! The dogs even did well with the mowing and alpaca show going on around them. Yes it’s a super fun game for the dogs but it also helps with recall and distraction work. It’s not to late to join this session. Message us if you’re interested. We’ll be back at it next Saturday 9:30am!
