Stress doesn’t always hit like a wave...it can linger. The racing thoughts at night, that “always on” feeling, the low-grade tension that just won’t quit... sound familiar?
Here’s the truth: your stress hormone, cortisol, isn’t the enemy. It’s there to help you wake up, focus, and tackle your day. The challenge comes when it forgets how to power down.
✨ The best part? You can gently guide it back into rhythm-
without overhauling your entire life.
Try one or two of these simple shifts:
☀️ Get outside in the morning—natural light tells your body
it’s time for energy now (and rest later).
🚶🏻♀️➡️Move in ways that feel good-walk, stretch, or dance in your kitchen.
🍓Balance your meals with protein, healthy fats, and fiber-your blood sugar (and hormones!) will thank you.
🌙 Create a bedtime ritual-dim lights, read a book, or step
away from screens to signal “it’s time to rest.”
Perimenopause isn’t about doing everything perfectly-it’s about steady, doable habits that leave you calmer, more energized, and ready to take on your day.

You’re not imagining it — your body really is changing.
What used to feel easy (sleep, mood, energy, even your weight) may suddenly feel different.
✨ It’s not “just getting older.”
It’s your hormones shifting — and your body asking for a new kind of care.
Start by showing yourself compassion.
Then, nourish your body with real food, gentle movement, and rest.
You’re not broken — you’re evolving 💛

Myth: Hormone therapy causes cancer.
Reality: The science tells a different story-and it’s time we talked about it.
Many women still fear estrogen because of outdated studies, especially the early results from the Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) in 2002. But here’s what we now know:
• For women under 60 or within 10 years of menopause, estrogen-only hormone therapy has not been shown to increase the risk of breast cancer-and may even reduce it.
• For women who still have a uterus and take combined estrogen + progestin therapy, there is a slight increased risk
—but it’s smaller than many think, and must be weighed against benefits like reduced bone loss, better sleep, and fewer hot flashes.
Plus, newer formulations and lower doses today are far
safer than what was used decades ago.
Bottom line: The blanket fear of hormones is outdated. The decision is personal-and should be based on current science, not headlines from 20 years ago.
