The POWER program

( This poem is dedicated to the stolen children. )

IS ANYONE LOOKING 👀 FOR ME 👀 ?
Every night before going to bed I pray to God that someone can find me,
can save me or free me”
I remember I was only three
when stripped of my dignity,
my integrity
and liberty.
We were at the shopping mall when ripped from my mother’s hands”
and now I can’t seem to understand the language of this foreign land.
People here ignore my shouts & screams
IS ANYONE LOOKING FOR ME?
I feel they’ve also stolen my hopes & dreams
always waking up to the same routine,
Feeling broken & bruised while now a young teen,
And even though I feel the hurt and pain ,
I continue praying
that someone’s out there looking for me “
Because the monsters that was once under my bed
Is no longer just in my head
And they have no feelings
No conscience or decency
Because their only God is their currency”
HELLO?!
IS ANYONE LOOKING FOR ME? 👀?
