As National Poetry Month comes to a close…

I’m reflecting on what it meant to be in a room with family, friends, & supporters, while I shared stories in a way I imagined.

“When the Pages Speak,” was a space where poetry, music, and emotion all met in one place.

The energy in the room.
The silence between the lines.
The tears.
The emotion on faces.
The genuine connection.

That’s what reminds me why I create.
I’m grateful for everyone who showed up and took a journey with me.

For me, it’s bigger than poetry.
Its purpose.
We got way more to do though.

Big love to my sis
Thank you to & bro
And a special shout to my newfound family

When the Pages Speak 📖✨

A year and a half ago, while with my LBHS family, I visited and connected with the amazing staff there. We talked about family, life, books, community, and creating a Tiny Desk–style performance in their space — and now, it’s finally happening.

I’m bringing an intimate night of spoken-word poetry and storytelling from my album Kiss My Art, rooted in community and healing, to this beautiful Black-owned bookstore!
