Before Jersey Club became a sound heard across the world, there were pioneers building it from the ground up right here in Newark.

DJ Tim Dolla, born Timothy Foster, was one of those builders.

As a DJ, producer, Brick Bandits original, and Jersey Club pioneer, Tim helped shape more than music — he helped shape movement, culture, community, and identity. His work helped push the Brick Bandits name forward and gave young creatives a lane, a family, and a sound they could call their own.

Records like “Swing Dat Shyt” didn’t just make people dance — they helped define an era. Tim’s influence went beyond the DJ booth. He was remembered as a big brother, mentor, teacher, people’s champ, and true architect of the Jersey Club culture.

His name belongs in the foundation.
