One of the fun challenges of performing solo is the attempt to convey the energy of songs that were recorded with a full band all by yourself. With “Hard to Miss You” being one of the highest energy songs on the setlist, it’s become something of a tradition to have the crowd snap where the snare would be while I improvise the funkiest solo I can give them that night!
