Happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸

Today, we celebrate 250 years of our nation's history and the freedoms that unite us. As we gather with family and friends, we also remember those who have served, sacrificed, and helped shape the country we call home.

If you feel so inclined, we invite you to take part in Giving 4th—a new national day of charitable giving. If you're looking for a meaningful way to celebrate the holiday, consider supporting Delaware Hospice and the compassionate care we provide by visiting: https://delawarehospice.org/give/

From all of us at Delaware Hospice, we wish you a safe and joyful Independence Day weekend.

Our hearts are full after another incredible Camp New Hope.

We are so proud of these amazing kids for supporting one another and for finding moments of joy along the way. Their courage and resilience inspire us every year.

Thank you to our volunteers, staff, and supporters for helping create a place where kids can grieve, heal, and simply be kids.

Although our 2026 Camps have come and gone, our grief support services are available year-round for children, teens, and families who need them. 🦋💙

We’re thrilled to share that Delaware Hospice was named the Large Employer of the Year at the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce’s annual Excellence in Business Awards Celebration Thursday at Bally’s Dover Casino Resort!

This recognition reflects the dedication, compassion, and commitment our team brings to the patients and families we serve every day across our communities. While this award bears our organization's name, it truly belongs to every employee, volunteer, donor, and community partner who helps make our mission possible.

A special thank you goes to our Events & Outreach Coordinator, Missy Baker, whose advocacy and belief in our mission helped bring this nomination to life. Missy works tirelessly behind the scenes to share the story of Delaware Hospice and the impact our team has on the patients and families we serve.

We are honored by this recognition and grateful to the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce for celebrating organizations that make a positive impact throughout our community.
