The Hunger Project

Meet Abigail is a Ayuujk (Mixe) woman from Oaxaca, Mexico, a fierce defender of women and children's rights and a leader in her municipality. Recently, she shared with us, "My vision for the future is that no woman dares to be silent just because she have been told that "we look prettier when we are quiet." She has been working with The Hunger Project-Mexico to strengthen her own leadership skills to continue to make this vision a reality.
