Bryant Gumbel’s career has spanned over 50 years, securing himself as one of television's most accomplished broadcasters. He began his television career in 1972 at KNBC in Los Angeles before moving on to NBC Sports for seven years. In his time at NBC Sports, he was a host of almost every primary sports program and championship event, including 7 World Series, 4 Super Bowls, 5 NCAA Basketball Championships and more. In 1982, Gumbel became host of NBC’s TODAY program for 15 years, before hosting REALSPORTS for HBO. His career has won him more than 30 Sports Emmy Awards.

Ernie worked for Turner Broadcasting (and, in turn, was a key part of Turner Sports field operations) for 40 years.
