Meet Nina! Professional napper, cozy bed enthusiast, and full-time heart thief. 💜
This adorable 6-year-old, 10lb sweetheart was found as a stray and has never let life’s challenges dull her sparkle. After an old injury that never healed properly, her hind leg was amputated—but it doesn’t slow her down one bit. Nina is happy, independent, and living her very best life.
Her days are perfectly simple: she’ll happily wake you up when it’s breakfast time, enjoy a few leisurely walks, explore the apartment at her own pace, and spend the rest of the day mastering the art of napping.
And her favorite nightly ritual? Being tucked into bed. Seriously. Nina insists on having her blankets arranged just right before she’ll drift off to sleep, making her one of the cutest little bedtime companions you’ll ever meet.
Nina has Cushing’s disease, which is well-controlled with a daily Vetoryl pill, and she’s doing wonderfully. All she’s missing now is a forever family to spoil her the way she deserves!

Meet Bob, our 8-year-old, 55lb gentleman, sprinkler enthusiast, part-time fashion model, and occasional siren backup singer.
Yes, Bob has starred as a model for a fashion brand. Yes, he is handsome. Yes, he knows it.
Bob has been looking for his forever family for 160+ days and is one of the longest residents in our program, which is honestly wild because this boy is such a gem. 💛
Bob is the perfect mix of chill apartment companion and happy little adventure buddy. At home, he is all naps, fluffy toys, treat puzzles, and occasional playtime. Outside, he’s ready to strut his stuff and joyfully jump through sprinklers like life is one big summer photoshoot.
He walks beautifully on leash, rides elevators and even the Roosevelt Island tram like a true gentleman, and is great with people and kids. Bob is house trained, can be left home alone out of the crate, knows sit and paw, and has fully accepted his post-walk paw wash routine like the classy man he is.
And because every icon needs a signature move: Bob sometimes howls along with sirens like he’s been personally invited to join the emergency response choir. Keep swiping to see his vocal debut. 🎤
Bob would likely be happiest as the only dog, though he may adjust well with the right female dog. Cats may be a little too exciting for him at first.
Bob is sweet, gentle, silly, easy to love, and always ready to go wherever his person goes. Whether he’s modeling, tram-riding, sprinkler-jumping, siren-singing, or simply being the best boy, Bob is looking for his forever home.
