The European Commission invited Taliban authorities to Brussels to discuss accelerated deportations by several member states to even though the EU is well aware of the dire human rights situation in the country.
Any engagement with the Taliban needs to prioritize protecting human rights and accountability. Afghans should not be deported to danger. ⤵️
