I can’t begin to describe the anger and hurt I have felt the past few months as antisemitism began yet again another meteoric rise. This time, at my front door.

Every day I see new videos, articles, and tweets spewing pure hatred for the Jewish people. N**i rhetoric and ideologies have become commonplace. Jewish conspiracy theories are not subjugated to the bowels of the web anymore, they are headline news. The people who are opening the floodgates of hatred and bigotry continue to praise Hi**er and gaslight the cultural traumas of the Jewish people. People I considered my friends, praise Kanye on social media. I can’t seem to let it go and I can’t seem to understand WHY?

The Holocaust happened only 80 years ago. People who walked through the gates of concentration camps and witnessed the murder of their entire families are still here. How is it then that these atrocities have already begun to recede into history as a lesson too insignificant to be learned from?
My mom always told me that history repeats itself and for the first time I’m petrified that she’s right.

To the people who can’t muster the strength to speak out against these injustices and/or continue to defend antisemitism, I have but one question… where do you draw the line?

My dad said I ruined the drawings by being in the photo 🌹
