My heart is full.
Getting to direct at The Actors Studio as part of the On The Fly Festival has been a deeply meaningful experience. There’s something about working in that space, surrounded by so much history and rigor, that asks you to show up fully, honestly, and without shortcuts.
We built in a short amount of time, but with care, trust, and true collaboration. I’m incredibly grateful to this beautiful cast for their openness, talent, and generosity.
Thank you to Shaun Fauntleroy for your powerful text and your trust. Thank you to Delissa, Jalissa, Paul, and the entire team for creating the space for this work to exist.
And to everyone I’ve met along the way, what a gift. The work across all the teams was truly beautiful.
