Named in honor of Gian Annibale, the visionary who first believed that Petit Verdot could unlock the true winemaking potential of Castello del Terriccio, this wine is both a tribute and a torch passed to the next generation.
Years ago, he laid the groundwork for a bold idea — a blend centered around Petit Verdot, a grape he championed long before others dared. When the reins of the estate were handed over, that dream was carried forward with the same passion and conviction, and with the legendary Carlo Ferrini — the man behind Lupicaia over 30 years ago — the vision finally became a reality.
