This is what it’s all about! This week, we celebrated our 55th Next Step Internship Program (NSIP) graduation—a day filled with warmth, shared stories, and pride. These tenacious individuals successfully completed eight weeks of classroom learning and hands‑on internships at shelters and supportive housing sites. They are now ready to step confidently into the social services field.
Graduates, thank you for allowing us to be part of your next steps and for letting us witness the truly special community you built together. We’re beyond proud of all you’ve accomplished and excited to continue supporting you as you grow and thrive in this important work.

With rent rising and the cost of living continuing to go up, living-wage jobs matter more than ever.
That’s why this year we launched Care Corps: a FREE training program that helps New Yorkers who care about mental health step into psychiatric healthcare careers, starting at $50K a year.
This is renewal, powered by you. Together, we’re helping people secure meaningful work that actually pays, and build futures they can count on. Support today: https://www.projectrenewal.org/get-involved/renewal-powered-by-you/

On November 1st, SNAP benefits could be suspended nationwide, leaving millions of people, including many of our clients, residents, and fellow New Yorkers, without the food support they count on. You can make an immediate difference for those going hungry.
