Perhaps now, more than ever before, this year’s offers an opportunity to reflect on the power of bringing joy and purpose to New York City children who live in the most fragile of circumstances. We believe that music and music education raises self esteem, improves academics, and connects children to their communities. We have committed to continuing this work during the pandemic.
At MusiCan, we've been inspired by the gratitude and appreciation shown by children who have lost so much. We are humbled by their progress and commitment to their music education.

Thank you to our donors for continuing to support MusiCan. When the children whom we serve switched to remote schooling at the start of the pandemic, we were the only nonprofit to keep providing them with arts programming! We continued to serve them throughout the summer and into September. We are excited to announce that, after a three-week break, our Y2020-2021 remote programs began again last Monday. Thank you again for helping us provide continuous supportive programming to children in need during difficult times! 👊🎹❤️

Thank you to everyone who donated yesterday in MusiCan's campaign. The funds will be used to continue our Distance Learning music programming for at-risk school children in NYC. Our donors rock!

Since the pandemic began, and public schools closed, MusiCan (thanks to our generous donors) has continued providing at-risk NYC students music education via Distance Learning. We are so proud of our students and teachers for making this transition quickly and seamlessly. Thank you for your continued support!
