Antisemitic hate crimes made up 57% of all reported hate crimes in NYC last year, but Jewish people make up only about 10% of NYC's population. 's legislative package is urgently needed and would help ensure safe access to synagogues, schools, and other houses of worship while protecting the right to peaceful protest.
This vote is happening today and Sutton Place Synagogue supports it as it would protect all houses of worship for all faith communities.

Thank you to Rabbi Dave and Cantor Cattan for representing Sutton Place Synagogue today as the United Nations observes International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Today is a chance to remember all those who were murdered, harmed, and separated from loved ones during the Holocaust and also a powerful reminder of the importance of resisting antisemitism in NYC and globally.
