Today at 11:40am in New York, we lost a man of great heart and destiny — Stephen Weingrad.
For decades, he stood as a pillar of New York’s cultural life, shaping the city across the second half of the 20th century and into the 21st.

For over ten years, Steven guided the work of the Shchukin Gallery, and in recent years served as President of the Shchukin Foundation. His legacy of integrity, vision, and devotion to art will remain with us.
