Bay Ridge St. Patrick's Day Parade

All month long we are going to spotlight our distinguished 2026 Parade Honorees and wonderful Parade Headquarters.

Today we are pleased to introduce Deputy Marshal Jamie Farley!

Jamie Farley was born to James and Janet Farley (née McNaughton), and proudly carries on a family legacy rooted deeply in Irish tradition. Descended from ancestors who emigrated from Ireland in the mid-1800s, Jamie’s paternal roots trace back to County Fermanagh, while his maternal family hails from County Mayo. For more than 125 years, the Farley family has been connected to St. Patrick’s Parish—its church and school—reflecting a longstanding commitment to faith, family, and community.

Jamie is the devoted husband of Kristen Farley (née Sullivan), and a proud father to Samantha, James, and Brooke. Family remains at the center of his life, whether spending summers at the Breezy Point Surf Club or enjoying vacations together.

Professionally, Jamie built a distinguished career in the financial industry, working as an ETF and options market maker on both the American Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange from 1993 to 2018. Today, he brings that same work ethic and engaging personality to his role as a bartender at Hunter’s Steak and Ale House, where he enjoys connecting with friends and neighbors in the community.

Outside of work, Jamie is an active and enthusiastic participant in sports, including tennis, softball, and ice skating. A dedicated volunteer, he has coached CYO baseball and basketball for over a decade and is currently coaching the 5th grade boys basketball team.

Through his mentorship and leadership, Jamie continues to give back to the parish and community that have long been central to the Farley family story.
