COME UP HERE: A JOURNEY INTO THE HIGHER REALM
“After this I looked, and behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me, which said, come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.” Revelation 4:1
DAY 6 — The Message for the Church Today.
Scripture: Revelation 4:1, Jer 1:11-12 NIV, John 10:27 NKJV
Focus: Heaven opens by God’s initiative. To receive the unmistakably direct message from Him.
1. Heaven still opens to those who look.
“After this, I looked. What we see after looking has a lot of influence on us as individuals. It creates a mental picture in us that can control our decisions for a long time.
Jer 1:11-12 NIV, when the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, and asked him, “What do you see? The answer he gave, God said, " You have seen correctly. What if he had seen it wrongly? You can imagine the outcome of his decision. Revelation begins with paying attention to what you see and hear. God reveals Himself to the seeking heart.
2. Christ still speaks with trumpet clarity.
John 10:27, Jesus said; My sheep hear My voice; that means under no circumstances could His voice be mistakenly identified by His sheep. His voice cuts through confusion, culture, and crisis. Jesus still calls His people by name and speaks clearly with precision in our days.
3. God still calls His people upward.
The upward call of God for us is not to escape life on earth, but to see life rightly from a heavenly viewpoint. We are not to avoid responsibility, but to gain the right perspective.
4. The throne still governs all things.
We need to understand that the throne of God and His kingdom still rule and govern all things, both heaven and earth. Before any kingdoms rise or fall, the throne of God stands formidable and unshaken. Therefore, before the news reports, heaven has already spoken.
Reflection: Heaven opens to those who look and see correctly.
Prayer: Father Lord, open my eyes and ears to pay more attention to your revelations.

COME UP HERE: A JOURNEY INTO THE HIGHER REALM
“After this I looked, and behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me………. Revelation 4:1
DAY 3 — The Voice Like a Trumpet.
Scripture: Revelation 4:1, 1:10
Focus: Christ’s voice is clear, commanding, and unmistakable.
Apostle John heard a voice like a trumpet, and he immediately recognized that voice —the voice of the risen Christ. It is a voice that pierces, summons, awakens. It is “as of a trumpet,” not in harshness, but in clarity and authority. Do you know that trumpets in Scripture announce divine movement: the giving of the Law, the gathering of the people, the coronation of kings, the descent of the Lord?
Here, the trumpet-like voice of our Lord Jesus calls John into a new realm of revelation. What Moses saw on Sinai, John now sees in the heavenly sanctuary. What the prophets glimpsed in shadows, John now beholds unveiled. The voice is clear, commanding, and unmistakable. Christ’s voice cuts through exile, fear, and earthly noise. When He speaks, confusion gives way to clarity. His voice is not weak; it awakens. So, when John hears a trumpet voice, he knows: This is not a whisper. This is not a suggestion.
This is the King of Glory calling His servant upward.
God is moving. God is speaking. God is summoning.
Reflection: His voice cuts through confusion and fear.
Prayer: Speak, Lord. Your servant is listening.

DAY 1 — After this I looked.
Scripture: Revelation 4:1
Focus: Heaven opens by God’s initiative.
Beloved, there are moments in Scripture where heaven bends low and invites humanity to behold the unseen. Revelation 4:1 is one such moment. John, the aged apostle, exiled on the lonely island of Patmos, is suddenly caught up in the realm of glory. Earthly chains cannot bind heavenly revelation. Isolation cannot silence the voice of God. Darkness cannot dim the door that God Himself opens.
John said, “After this I looked.”
Revelation begins with attention. Heaven opens to those who look.
God reveals Himself to the seeking heart.
Heaven is not closed. Heaven is not silent. Heaven is not distant. Heaven opens to the one who looks. And then comes the voice—clear, commanding, irresistible— “Come up here.”
It is a call to rise above the noise of the age, above the turmoil of nations, above the weight of earthly burdens, and to see from God’s vantage point. Amen
Reflection: John did not force the door open; he simply looked. God opens doors no man can shut.
Prayer: Lord, open my eyes to the doors You have set before me.
