Sad to hear about the passing of Tom Dreesen.

I never had the chance to meet him, but his name comes up any time you start learning the history of comedy in Chicago.

He and Tim Reid built one of the first in*******al comedy duos in America and did it during a time when that took a level of courage that is hard to fully appreciate today.

The history of comedy is filled with people who changed the business without most audiences ever realizing it. Tom was one of those people.

My thoughts are with his family and loved ones today. Thank you, Tom, for helping make this path a little wider for the generations that followed.
