Just decades after our founding in 1912, Gotham was already shaping the city’s streetscape through hands-on, quality building.

Downtown Clearwater is entering a new phase of growth, and The Gotham Organization is proud to be part of its next chapter.

In partnership with The DeNunzio Group, Gotham has secured $160 million in construction financing for The Bluffs, a 630,000-square-foot mixed-use development planned for the former City Hall site in Clearwater. The project will deliver 400 luxury rental residences, more than 10,000 square feet of retail space, and 440 parking spaces, contributing to the continued evolution of the downtown waterfront.

“We are grateful to Mayor Bruce Rector and the City of Clearwater for entrusting us as co-developers of this landmark site and for delivering Coachman Park and The BayCare Sound, which set the stage for The Bluffs and downtown’s next chapter,” said Matthew Picket, Vice President of Development at The Gotham Organization. “The Bluffs represents an exciting chapter for Gotham as we expand into Florida with a project that reflects our core strengths: navigating complex request for proposal processes and creating transformative mixed-use communities.”

With construction beginning immediately and a groundbreaking planned for April, The Bluffs marks Gotham’s expansion into a new market and reinforces our long-term commitment to thoughtful, large-scale mixed-use development.
