We're always delighted when a NEXUS member is inspired to create something new and innovative.

An Australian Committee member, Edwina Floch, who helped curate last year's summit in Sydney, had the honor of interviewing world-renowned conservationist, Dr. Jane Goodall ​​and ​was surprised and saddened that she couldn't find great contemporary music videos to top ​and tail the session.

After ​doing some research and listening to a podcast episode called 'Where's Our Climate Anthem?', she decided to launch The Environmental Music Prize​ - the world's first prize that rewards and incentivizes talented artists to create powerful music videos that inspire action for climate and conservation.

A true philanthropist and social entrepreneur, Edwina created a not-for-profit, donated the startup capital, worked probono for a year​ , and leveraged her powerful network.

We're now inviting the NEXUS community to help select the winner from 24 Finalists! (selected from over 200 entries by a selection panel that included the CEO of Greenpeace Australia Pacific and environmental leaders from WWF, Australian Youth Climate Coalition, Ocean Impact Organisation, The Wilderness Society ​and the climate strike movement)
