Bonne Fête Nationale !
As France gears up for the World Cup semifinals this , we’re highlighting a group of iconic French sites:
- Notre Dame of Paris: WMF placed this masterpiece of Gothic architecture on the 2020 after a devastating fire consumed much of the cathedral’s roof.
- Palace of : WMF has worked at various sites associated this former royal residence outside of Paris, including the Queen’s Theater, the Belvedere Pavilion, and the Potager du Roi.
- Church of Saint Eustache, Paris: WMF has worked to this Gothic church built between 1532 and 1637 and increase interpretation for visitors in this important religious and community space.
- Chapel of the Sorbonne, Paris: WMF is working to support the restoration and reopening of this Latin Quarter landmark after decades of closure to the public.
