Join us this summer as we follow some of our recent LYADP alumni take their next steps in their careers! We will kick things off this Friday with pianist and diction coach Mariam Bombrun, who is performing with fellow Lindemann Artists at Jackie Robinson Park as part of the City Parks Foundation's SummerStage Festival.
Mariam made her Met Music Staff debut during the 2024–25 season as an Assistant Conductor for Le Nozze di Figaro. This past season, she served as music staff for the Met's revival of Carmen and played orchestra piano and celesta in the Met’s mid-season revival of The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay. During both of her years with the LYADP, she prepared and performed in the Program's concert of opera scenes, the annual recital series held at the Bruno Walter Auditorium and Merkin Hall, and the Met Orchestra Workshop with Maestro Yannick Nézet-Séguin. She will serve on music staff for Die Zauberflöte at Aspen Opera Theater later this summer, before joining the music staff of the Polish National Opera under the music direction of Yoel Gamzou in the fall. Recent operatic engagements include Tosca, Falstaff, and Castor et Pollux at the Paris Opera, L’Enfant et les Sortilèges in concert with the San Diego Symphony, Rigoletto at Volksoper Wien, among others.
