About the client: Trancona Consulting Associates is a leading mergers and acquisitions brokerage firm advising private and corporate clients on Higher market transactions.

Job Description:
As an M&A Associate, you will play a key role in advising clients on complex corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and private equity deals. This is an opportunity to work with top-tier clients on high-profile transactions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
Advise public and private companies on mergers, acquisitions, and corporate governance matters.

Draft and negotiate transaction documents, including purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and financing agreements.
Conduct due diligence and manage deal processes from inception to closing.

Coordinate with internal teams across tax, finance, and regulatory practices to ensure seamless ex*****on.
Provide strategic counsel to clients on structuring transactions and mitigating legal risks.
Qualifications:
J.D. from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials.
Admission to the New York State Bar.

3–5 years of M&A experience at a leading law firm, preferably an AM100 firm.

Strong drafting and negotiation skills with experience in private equity and public company transactions preferred.
Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Strong business acumen and ability to provide strategic legal counsel to corporate clients.

CONSTRUCTION COST ESTIMATOR

Position Overview
The Estimator plays a critical role in the pre-construction phase of various projects by providing accurate cost estimates and budgets.

This position requires a deep understanding of construction processes and the ability to analyze project specifications and drawings to determine project costs.

The Senior Estimator collaborates with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure that all bids are competitive and aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for multifamily, senior living, affordable housing, healthcare, hospitality, and museum projects.

• Develop and manage conceptual budgets and negotiated bids throughout the project lifecycle.

• Collaborate with project management teams to understand project scope and requirements.

• Analyze project designs and specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.

• Utilize estimating software to create and maintain accurate bid documents and reports.

• Provide technical input and support for project planning and ex*****on.
• Conduct market research to remain informed about construction costs and trends in the industry.
• Assist in the training and development of junior estimators and team members.

Qualifications
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Proficient in estimating software and advanced technical skills.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of financial concepts related to construction projects.

• Experience with multifamily, senior living, and healthcare projects preferred.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

Desired Skills and Experience
negotiated bids, Schematic Design, Construction Management, Project Management, Estimating, GMP, Multifamily, Value Engineering, Conceptual budgets, Stipulated Sum
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
