👩‍🚒🚒💛🔥 Our Girls on Fire participants are off to an amazing start!

Created to inspire and empower young women while introducing them to careers in the fire service, Girls on Fire gives participants the opportunity to build confidence, develop leadership skills, and see firsthand what it takes to become a firefighter.

The girls had a successful first week, including a visit to Fire Headquarters, and earlier this week they visited NRFD Station 1, where they learned about different firefighting tools and equipment—and even got to try out the fire hose! 💪👩‍🚒🚒🧯

We can’t wait to see what the rest of the program has in store! 🔥💛👩‍🚒
