Want to end poverty? First, focus on seeing the person, not the problem. Building solidarity and practicing human rights requires seeing the people in front of me first. Only then can I move to the injustice of poverty.
Join Dr. Redcross' Public Relations Writing course for their service-learning presentation in Murphy Hall 319 today at noon. The event is in conjunction with the New Rochelle Public Library's "Big Read" campaign.
The presentation is called: "Outside the White Picket Fence: Connecting the Adventures of Tom Sawyer with Issues of Today"
