New Rochelle approves razing historic rowing club building New Rochelle’s City Council voted Tuesday to raze the historic New Rochelle Rowing Club building, which is owned by the club but is on city land in Hudson Park. The building was reportedly damaged in Hurricane Sandy.

New Rochelle poised to raze historic Rowing Club building The New Rochelle City Council may vote Tuesday to award a more than $120,000 contract without a formal bid to raze the historic New Rochelle Rowing Club building in Hudson Park. Club members say the building, which suffered damage in Hurricane Sandy, can be saved.
