I never thought I’d ever see such a thing, but it’s pretty cool that it appears to be happening. A recently published virtual storm chasing game, Outbrk - Storm Chasing Simulator, is apparently going to be using an in-house short term model that will allow you to chase the simulated convection from it. As Edgar posted, you will be able to virtually chase what is expected to happen before you chase in real life. That’s insane and awesome. I likely won’t invest in any Windows tech to be able to do such a thing but for those that do utilize Windows products, it’s super cool.
