Dr. Jamie Melichar, D.O.
Family Medicine Provider

Dr. Melichar is a Board Certified Family Medicine Provider. Dr. Melichar's interest in medicine began during her youth. Dr. Melichar volunteered at North Bay Hospital when she was just 14 and was then selected for the Nurse Helper Program. She graduated from Gulf High School right here in New Port Richey. She was a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and Math Honor Society. She also served as President of the Student Council. Dr. Melichar went on to graduate from the University of South Florida. Following her graduation, she attended medical school and completed her residency in Largo. Dr. Melichar has been in practice for 8 years since and joined Aspire Medical Group in 2019. "This is home to me. The house I grew up in is just about five minutes away from my office now," she shared. Giving back to the community she loves is important to Dr. Melichar and that's why she made the decision to continue her practice in the area she grew up. Dr. Melichar's patients appreciate her open and thorough communication that allows for a better understanding of their health
