Patient appreciation post! 🫶 This may be my third trip with (!!!) but I continue to be moved by the patients we have the honor to serve.

Even after living for years in pain, often struggling to manage everyday tasks, they greet us with wide smiles, open hearts, and words of gratitude that routinely bring me to tears.

In an at-times bleak world, they remind me of the power of perspective. Of love. Of choice.

They could be angry that their life has been limited for so long, but instead they choose thankfulness. To be a witness to their resilience and determination is to be deeply humbled and forever changed.

For every patient and family member with whom I had the opportunity to meet on , I thank you for allowing me to accompany you in this transformative moment of your lives.

Your words, your abrazos, your abundant joy, will be etched in my heart forever.
