TO THE LOCAL DC BANDS:
Electric Cool Aid AKA is the place to book. Pasha was extremely kind. The staff and food and drinks were popping. We had three acts play the joint and we kept the crowd going til close.
Can’t express how DC truly came thru for us and can’t wait to come down again. We were without a venue for this date for way too long while planning this tour. We booked Swarthmore months ago, they dropped us on a double booking. Then booked another place in DC, they dropped us cause they didn’t have the staff. was still willing to play as long as we got a venue. It was coming down to the wire. got the word we were coming to town and failing hard so they put up the bat signal in the community asking after so many venues. I couldn’t tell you how many venues we reached out to, 50 to 100? Henri got us on the line with and they hooked us up with Pasha. The rest is history. Arrived in DC in the afternoon, got a memory card from a local cvs for our camera and ate at the wonderful ELECTRIC COOL-AID. Dropped back to Baltimore for the night cap.

Philly - 4/15
We arrived at Silk City with Mango Safari pulling up the same time as us. Unloaded the Van and got time to soundcheck. Pru was our sound person and they were wonderful to work with. Met the peeps in both Mango Safari and Mars Counsel before getting some Grub at the CheeseSteak place around the corner. Brian was instrumental in handing out flyers and slaptagging traffic objects.
Met Alex’s sister Erika and her roomie ET for dinner before heading back to catch the set. Drank and danced til we were up. Played a dope show even if the dl4 wasn’t plugged in properly. Met some peeps from Erika’s school as well as a born to be rocker fan named Patrick. Played out the night with a dope finish before enjoying s set.
Stayed up at Erika’s pretty late before we all crashed on couches or air mattresses. Next morning, packed the van up, spotted on the street and they came to say hi before we hightailed it outta there to Baltimore.
