Deepwater Technical Symposium 2025 Registration hosted by Whova 05/30/2025

The 28th Annual Deepwater Technical Symposium is coming soon! Supported by dedicated volunteers from the American Association of Drilling Engineers (AADE) New Orleans Chapter, New Orleans Geological Society (NOGS), and Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Delta Section, our mission is to provide a platform for industry experts to share knowledge, best practices, new technologies, and process improvements. To foster an open discussion of our industry’s challenges and successes, the presentation materials are not recorded or published.

Proceeds from the Symposium are used to support scholarships and other educational efforts promoted by the supporting societies. Thank you for contributing to the enhancement of a learning culture in our industry to enable the future success of the Deepwater Technical Symposium.

20th Annual Sporting Clays Tournament 2025
Date: Friday, June 6, 2025
Location: Covey Rise Lodge – Husser, LA
The API Delta Chapter of New Orleans is proud to announce that we are holding our 20th annual Family Sporting Clay Tournament on Friday, June 6, 2025, at the Covey Rise Lodge located in Husser, LA. The annual API Family Sporting Clay Tournament promotes friendly competition, and sporting clay skills to our oil field industry participants and their families.

This event offers a wide range of competition for both the family and the individual. In the interest of safety, participants must be 14 years or older. The tournament will start on Friday, the registration starts at 7:30 AM shooting time starts promptly at 9:00 AM. Shooters should be ready for safety meeting at 8:30 AM.

The main event will present a multi-stand, 100 clays course. Awards will go to high individual and team winners based on Lewis Class Scoring. Additionally, we will have a few side games including longbird and .410 Challenge.
