Community Works

Just like that both DJOD and KDHS camps are over. Here are just a few of the amazing things they did this summer.

At DJOD they learned about the history of Mardi Gras, explored Louisiana cuisine, music, and dance, and discovered the stories behind some of the city's unique traditions.

And at KDHS's culminating event, our students had the opportunity to become both producers and consumers, bringing everything they learned to life through hands-on experiences!

We smashed our goal and we couldn't have done it without our COMMUNITY! Every donation will directly support our programming to continue bringing quality Arts, STEAM, and Entrepreneurship education to the youth of Greater New Orleans. As we like to say around here: Community Works When Community WORKS!
