NKC, it's almost time to celebrate 250 years of independence!

Join us on Friday, July 3, 7-10 p.m., for our annual New Kent County Independence Day Celebration at New Kent High School (7365 Egypt Road).

🎆 Grounds open at 6 p.m. | Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket, grab dinner from one of the food trucks, let the kids enjoy inflatable fun, a community craft, the car show, and backyard games, and stick around for an evening of live music and fireworks.

Entertainment: 21 North of Chesapeake and DJ Rodney Woody

Food: Bald Guys Pies, Burgers on the Edge, Chikis Pancakes, Crows Nest Cookies, Early Bird Cafe, Funcakes, Mama Vicky’s Lumpia & Filipino Cuisine, Royal Creamery & Icery, Shaken Not Spurred, Smoky Meadows BBQ, Stroop Dogs, Stroop Scoops, Surfs Up Lemonade & Specialty Drinks, Virginia Kettle Corn Company
