New Kent Coyotes

The New Kent Juniors Volleyball Club 15U Coyotes took first place and the gold medals at the AAU Richmond Spring Fling Grand Prix tournament held March 23-24 at the Henrico Sports & Events Center. The Coyotes placed first of twenty teams competing in the 15 Open Division with a 6-0 match record, winning 12 of 14 sets over the two-day event. The team comprises nine New Kent County volleyball players and is led by Head Coach Stacey Baker. In six tournaments, the 15s have tallied a first, two seconds, two thirds, and a sixth this season, finishing ahead of 107 of the 118 teams they have competed against. Congratulations to (L to R), Mackenzie Loveland, Abby McLaughlin, and Fallon Greenawalt, who were selected to the All-Tournament team in the 16s National Division at the Beach Fest Super Regional tournament held over Mother's Day weekend in Ocean City, Maryland. The Coyotes 16s team finished tied for third in the 15-team event with a 5-2 match record.
