Save the Sound

Connecticut and New York are bringing solar to your balcony with new laws passed this legislative session!

Join us on Sunday, July 19, at the Northport Yacht Club for an afternoon of racing and community in support of Save the Sound.

The pursuit-style race begins at 3 p.m. with two classes:
• Cruising Class (Jib and Main)
• Racing Class (Spinnaker)

After the race, celebrate on the lawn with live music, buffet dinner, raw bar, and fellow sailors. We hope to see you there!

Last week, the Six Lakes Park Coalition hosted a community update meeting with CT DEEP, where advocates and neighbors expressed their concerns about a newly released 8 year testing and remediation timeline for the 102.5 acre property in Southern Hamden that we want to see turned into a public park.
