With a seasonally evolving menu and meticulously curated spirits, Union Kitchen leans into the quality of both product and service without cutting corners or costs.

A fan of all things wonky, they’ll always try to add some hand-done element to the projects they’re a part of, whether it be lettering, illustration or texture. When not cruising through merch and menus at Box 8, they love making flyers for their friends in the CT music scene, and preps a mean lunch.

Each year Box 8 is reminded of the incredible work that is produced in Connecticut by students and professionals, and we are so pumped to be a part of that creative community. Box 8 is humbled to once again be recognized at the Annual CADC Awards Show with 7 golds, 4 silvers, and one of the Judges Awards.

As our lead designer, Chuck has developed 50+ brands throughout his ten-year career here at box 8. He loves modern minimalist design, problem solving, designing packaging systems and hand lettering.⁠
Home chef and outdoorsman, Chuck enjoys grilling, roasting, smoking, and frying wild game. When he’s not designing (or hunting), you can find him at the gym or (mostly) at the golf course.
