Celebrating 250 Years of American Independence πΊπΈ
Last spring, our sixth grade students traveled to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty β two enduring symbols of the American story.
As we mark the 250th anniversary of our independence, these images remind us to give thanks for the people, ideas, and sacrifices that have shaped our nation, and for the responsibility we have to steward the blessings of freedom with excellence, wisdom, joy, and gratitude.
Happy Birthday, America. God bless the USA! π

DV Classical is proud to celebrate Ian, Class of 2026, who has received an appointment to the U.S. Air Force Academy and has reported to Colorado Springs to begin his education and military training.
The U.S. Air Force Academy is among the most selective institutions in the nation, receiving more than 10,000 applications each year and appointing only 1,100 students nationwide. Academy cadets receive a fully funded education valued at $416,000 to prepare them to serve as officers in the U.S. Air Force or U.S. Space Force.
Congratulations, Ian! We are grateful for your example of courage and service, and we pray Godβs blessing and protection over you as you begin this next chapter.
βThe LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.β

Congratulations to Addison (Class of β29), Reece (β29), Sophia (β27), John Patrick (β28), Benjamin (β28), and Silas (β28), who auditioned and were selected for the 2026 National Honor Choir, offered by New Saint Andrews College Conservatory of Music and the Association of Classical Christian Schools.
This week-long intensive gathers talented 9th-12th grade students from ACCS-member schools across the country to grow as vocalists while building friendships and memories through fellowship and shared activities.
At DV Classical, music is not merely an elective. As one of the seven liberal arts, music is woven into the formation of our students. From the earliest grades, students are trained to develop their voices as powerful instruments of worship to sing beautifully and confidently to glorify the Lord.
Thank you to our music teacher, Hannah Berth, for setting this foundation. And thank you to New Saint Andrews College and the ACCS for creating this opportunity for students.
