Pupdate 🐕

Carter, an emaciated pup that Pet and Wildlife Sanctuaries saved from ACCT Philly in June, is doing wonderfully well in his foster home. When he came into our care, he had a body score of 1 out of 9😔😪. On top of that, he was also battling a severe Upper Respitory Infection - which unfortunately is to be expected when pulling an animal rom Acct. We quickly began Carter on medication (since acct does the bare minimum to treat) and a feeding schedule to prevent refeeding syndrome. Carter had several vet appointments over the next month to help him overcome his infection(s). His foster mom and dad have worked with him daily to ensure optimal health and have even started command and recall training, thanks to past experience with training dogs. His coat and body have significantly improved and he is looking and feeling like a new dog😁

Today, he is getting neutered, and completing the final hurdle prior to adoption‼️🥰

Carter has come such a long way in only a few months, and he is now living the life he should have all along. He has a brother, two great parents, and a whole army of supporters behind him‼️💪

Please donate to Carter's care if you are able to do so. In addition to Carter, I have Macey, Lacey, and Kacey getting spayed tomorrow. These vet bills are a necessary part of rescuing, and donations are needed to ensure that I can continue providing the essential care that EVERY ANIMAL DESERVES❤️

My 501c3 animal rescue, Pet and Wildlife Sanctuaries, is urgently looking for a very short term foster to watch a trio of 5month old German Shepard puppies from NOW until the afternoon of August 12th (5 days). These puppies are healthy and up to date on all vaccinations. All supplies will be provided and any potential costs will be covered by me. I just need a responsible person that can step up and help me, and more importantly, these puppies out.

Their shelter is consistently operating at or above capacity, and dozens of healthy and adoptable animals are being timestamped and euthanized simply due to overcrowding/lack of space.💔
