Full City Devolucion scene report from last week in Long Island courtesy of the amazing Art inspiring art is what it’s all about. Thank you to everyone who made bracelets, conceived hand drawings, captured pictures, made a post about their show, took the time to learn to play one of our songs on their instrument of choice, created their own merch or just simply showed up and sang their hearts out. You are our reason. Is it cold New York? We don’t need No Answers as everyone knows the hottest band in the world is bringing the Full City Devolucion heat to New York City TONIGHT! It’s poignant to be playing for the very last time ever. This room means a lot to us - we recorded two of our albums inside it and we are very sad that the five boroughs are losing this space. Tears will be shed, but tonight is also a fiesta. The five of us and a sold out crowd, entirely comprised of our very best and closest friends are going to party like it’s 1999 to celebrate City, No Dev and FC! We have seen that tickets are selling for $200 on the secondary markets and that is making our stomach’s churn. We are trying to see if we can release a few extra and will announce on stories if we are able to make that happen. This whole reselling business is weak and those profiteers who don’t care about art can f**k off. Tomorrow is the last show of the tour and to celebrate, we are putting up a merch store. This pop up will include all items that have been sold on the tour and seven brand new items! We got very inspired! 20 years ago, we made an incredible Metro Map to accompany the release of A City By The Light Divided. Our friend is a rail track connoisseur of the highest calibre and volunteered to create a brand new transport network for us! We haven’t done landscape posters before but when we saw this, we knew we had to drop it! NYC is a city synonymous with the subway, so it feels appropriate to give you another sneak preview of what is coming tomorrow! Check back for deets at noon eastern on Thursday!
