Let’s take a look back at this amazing past season…

We kicked off the year with our 25th Anniversary Summer Festival, singing Before Bach and Beyond!

After that we reprised Ed Tyler’s “An American Requiem” at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Stamford, CT.

For the start of our main series concerts we teamed up with Simone Dinnerstein and Baroklyn as part of our ongoing work with THE COMPLETE BACH. We performed two concerts in collaboration with the Garmany Concert Series at University of Hartford and Music Worcester, Inc.

Next up we got festive with our annual Messiah & Carol Sing at St. Peter Claver in West Hartford!

After that we enjoyed our inaugural BIG SING events in West Hartford at Westminster Presbyterian Church and Madison at First Congregational Church.

Then, we enjoyed a program of American music and art on our Voices & Visions program in one of our favorite places to sing: Trinity College Chapel.

Our Words & Music concert with Geraldine Brooks was an exciting collaboration with excerpts of her writing interwoven with choral selections. We presented two concerts in New Britain at South Church and in Clinton at Clinton Town Hall.

The end of the season featured three phenomenal collaborations. We joined forces with Farmington Valley Chorale to present Bach's Easter & Ascension Oratorios under the direction of Ellen Gilson Voth.

In June, we had the amazing opportunity to perform in Central Park at the bandstand as a part of the Naumburg Orchestral Concerts - Since 1905 . We once again teamed up with Simone Dinnerstein and Baroklyn to dazzle the people of New York (and beyond!)

And lastly, we capped off the season with our performance of the Mozart Requiem with the Connecticut Early Music Society . We always have a great time collaborating with Ian Watson!

Special thanks to photographers Elana Owens, Kyle Norton, Bill Morgan, Chris Rakoczy, Grayson Dantzic and Brian Bystrek for capturing our season so beautifully!

Looking forward to seeing many of you at the Summer Festival next month. Stay tuned for next season’s concert lineup 🔜
