NB First Footing

We had an incredible day hosting volunteers from Real Life Church, and they left a massive impact on the First Footing shelter!

This amazing crew jumped right in and tackled a huge list of projects. They built a brand-new maintenance supply shed, cleaned the offices and kitchen, took care of lawn maintenance, and served meals to our participants.

What made the day truly special was their attitude and team spirit. They perfectly demonstrated what faith in action looks like and reminded us all how powerful it is when a community joins together.

But while many are celebrating with thoughts of vacations and pool days, the reality in New Braunfels is much harsher: The Texas heat is already dangerous.

For our unsheltered neighbors, the official start of summer marks the beginning of an immediate, life-threatening crisis. Extreme temperatures are more than just uncomfortable, they are deadly without proper relief.

We need your help to protect our community. First Footing is urgently collecting essential heat-relief supplies to keep our residents and neighbors safe. 🥤🧢

Sunscreen (SPF 30+)
Wide-Brimmed Hats
Cases of Water
