Have you ever felt a deep, unshakeable longing for something more?

In our walk with Christ, we often experience what the Apostle Paul describes as "groaning" (2 Corinthians 5:2-5). It’s vital to understand: Groaning isn’t complaining. We aren’t expressing dissatisfaction with God’s provision; we are expressing a holy longing for our true home.

We aren't just looking for forgiveness: we are looking for complete transformation. We desire to be "clothed," where our mortality is swallowed up by life. This isn't wishful thinking; it is a guarantee. God has given us the Holy Spirit as a down payment, a spiritual guarantee that ensures our full inheritance is coming.

If you feel that inner ache today, take heart. That groaning is evidence of the Spirit within you, reminding you that you were made for more than this world. It is the sign of a soul that knows its destination. Stand confident in what God has already secured for us.

Join us for Part III this Wednesday as we continue our series, "Confident in What God Has Promised."

It’s so easy to get caught up in the details of what we can see right in front of us: the bills, the health struggles, or the temporary setbacks. But the Apostle Paul gives us a crucial perspective shift in 2 Corinthians 4:18: "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

At New Vision Ministries, we view our church as a training ground. This is where we learn how to develop that "eternal vision." We train ourselves to look past the momentary trials and focus instead on the weight of glory that God is working within us. Everything you see today is temporary, but what God is doing in your soul lasts forever.

Are you ready to shift your focus? Join us this week as we grow together in the Word and strengthen our spiritual sight. We are committed to teaching the Word of God to help you understand your unique role within the Body of Christ.
