Our YMCA bear is looking a little warmer these days!

As part of New Bern’s Woven Together for 250 Years community art project, our bear has been wrapped in a beautiful handmade yarn creation crafted by talented local fiber artists. The project celebrates the people, creativity, and connections that make our community so special.

At the Y, we know that strong communities are built one person, one act of kindness, and one connection at a time. We love that our bear now reflects that spirit in such a colorful and creative way.
