Columbus Cocker Rescue

Lucie was happy to come back to her foster home after her day at Gahanna Animal Hospital (OH) in the care of Dr Jason who restored those pearly whites that she had as a young pup. She’s taking this opportunity to rest up before she starts looking for her forever home.

She’s a very active 9 year old senior (although her vet thought she looked 7!) who loves everyone she meets - humans of all ages, dogs, cats. Loves rolling in the grass and working puzzles filled with treats. She is doing well on housetraining and lets herself into her crate.

We need help getting these girls to our rescue. We have transport from TN but need help the rest of the way. Transport is July 8 or 9. Pick up in Louisville KY. If you remember Taco & Abbie who came into rescue after their owner passed away, Saturday was Abbie’s special day! It took awhile longer for her to leave with her new family as she was awaiting a dental and then developed kennel cough. They will continue to keep her on the road to good health and a trimmer waist line! Abbie started out at 45 # so we can’t wait to see her slim down.
