Have a weekly that is recorded in 24,000khz @ 64kbps. Several steps to get it at a stream friendly 44,100 @ 192
Original file is hot, so reduced to get some headroom
Used a compression pre set to level it all out
Then a hard limit (+2db) to raise it up to broadcast level.

When I edit Monday's show, I try and get it to @3 seconds over to allow for the squish. Usually takes 3 or 4 trips across the file to get close. Today, after the first edit I got lucky.
