A clever island layout from NKD designer Yaoying Huang made this kitchen even more functional! The main island handles seating and entertainment while a lower extension off the side, closer to the range, gives the chef a dedicated prep surface. One island, two distinct spaces!
Choosing hardware for cabinetry is another great way to make a design feel layered and thoughtful. In this new kitchen, each space has its own unique hardware while maintaining a cohesive overall aesthetic. It’s a small detail that when noticed makes a lasting impression!
